Managing Outlook mail profiles on Microsoft Outlook
The first step in creating additional profiles other than the existing profiles on Outlook, is opening of the Outlook mail profile applet. The applet can be opened in two different ways. If Outlook is your default email client, and if the shortcut is displayed in the Start Menu, you can right click on the shortcut and get access to the Outlook applet. If the shortcut is not available, you will need to go into the Control Panel, and look under the User Accounts group to access the Outlook applet.
Once the applet is open, choose the email accounts option to look into the account configuration of your profile. If you have more than one profile, this option displays your default profile. You can change the current pst file that you are using or add more pst files by making use of the Data File button. You can make use of the Show Profiles option to create and manage additional profiles that you might have created.
After you select the Show profiles option, a dialog box is displayed. Here you can manage your Outlook profiles by adding, deleting and editing the profiles. You can also configure Outlook to load the profile of your choice when the email client is opened. There are however instances when one of your Outlook profiles might get deleted or lost. In such a situation, it is advised that you avoid copying contents of one profile to another, as this would increase the trouble by two folds. It is ideal to make use of an Outlook recovery software to recover the deleted/lost profiles.
Recover Outlook pst software is a powerful Outlook recovery software that is capable of recovering not only your deleted and lost emails, but can also repair corrupted pst files. Besides recovering emails, this Outlook recovery software can recover other Outlook data like profiles, tasks, contacts, journals etc.
